Miranda Miller was born in London in 1950, the youngest of four children. As a child she wanted to act and her love of the theatre has influenced her novels, which are visual and dramatic and contain a lot of dialogue.

Miranda Miller was a Royal Literary Fund Fellow at the Courtauld Institute from 2013-15.

Miranda’s new book Angelica is now available in a Kindle edition and in paperback. It will be published in the USA by Barbican Press in June 2023.
Miranda’s ninth novel, When I Was, about a child growing up in London in the 1950s, will be published by Barbican Press in Spring 2025.
