Miranda Miller was born in London in 1950, the youngest of four children. As a child she wanted to act and her love of the theatre has influenced her novels, which are visual and dramatic and contain a lot of dialogue.
“Miller’s intricate fictions are lit by the dark flicker of a strong and original imagination.”— Hilary Mantel
Miranda Miller was a Royal Literary Fund Fellow at the Courtauld Institute from 2013-15.
She writes a monthly blog for The History Girls.
Miranda’s new book ‘Angelica’ is now available in a Kindle edition and in paperback. It will be published in the USA by Barbican Press in June 2023.
